How can I help you give your pet the best life that you can?  

Many of us work long days, especially in London, but we may also share our lives with dogs or cats to whom we want to give a happy home and a wonderful life.

I offer the busy pet owner help to keep their companions happy, whether they are away for a few hours, a day or a week ...  I am the sole proprietor of SE Dogs & Mogs, so once you and your animals have met me you know exactly who would be caring for your pets and I can build a relationship with them and get to know their character and preferences.

We know that dogs can't be left alone for too long, but if you do work during the day, or any odd time that they have to be left, think what a great snooze they can have after a long exciting walk to burn off that energy, explore, and socialise with their fellows.  I get great satisfaction from giving dogs the best walk they can have, according to their particular interests.  For example younger puppies might need a combination of different kinds of socialising, play and training reinforcement along with a smaller walk to suit their developing bodies. Seniors  might prefer a more sedate stroll and sniff; other dogs might be crazy about their ball, searching for squirrels in the woods, or splashing in water ... as long as they get a good towel-down!                                                                        

Safety is as important as fun, so dogs will only be off-lead with owners' permission and once I am confident of their recall; they wear my own identity tag as well as theirs in case of any mishap, with fluorescent LED collars in dark months.  I carry water, a pet first aid kit, and of course suitable treats / toys to aid attention!  Dogs travel the brief distances involved safely in separate comfortable compartments in my van. I never walk more than four dogs together; usually just two or three, and companions are chosen for compatibility.

Pets such as cats usually prefer to stay in their own environment, but friends and neighbours may not always have the time or expertise to offer the level of care your pet needs.  With regular daily visits from me, they will avoid the stress of new surroundings, follow their routine, and receive reassurance and individual loving attention in their own home.  You will also have a line of communication about the wellbeing and developments in your pet;  I can even send you a picture message on your holiday so you know they are ok!
