INITIAL CONSULTATION.

I will visit your home for a free, no obligation consultation, prior to any booking being confirmed. This lets you and your pets meet me, and discuss the level of care required, animals' characteristics, and cost.

FREE TRIAL DOG WALK WITH OWNER TOO.

For dog walking services, as part of the consultation I encourage owners to take a free short trial walk with me and your dog/s, as a manner of introduction and information exchange on all sides.  It is useful to get to know individuals' needs and tastes and to discuss any potential issues or preferences.

DOG WALKING.  

 Walks are a good hour long (travel to the walk not included in that hour of course). We have lots of opportunities for exploration, play, sniffs and socialisation. I take a maximum of 4 dogs on a walk which gives them social opportunities while getting the optimum attention and responsibility from me. I take your dogs to safe places and they wear my own tags as well for contact, plus fluorescent LED collars on darker days. During walks I will play with the dogs to give them maximum fun and exercise, and can help to reinforce manners / training / behaviour / socialisation goals that you might want your dog to focus on. [Note however that I am not a qualified dog trainer].

I can also do shorter or individual walks for older, younger or nervous dogs, or those who need one-to-one attention. However these wouldn't be available in the lunchtime period.

Rates *

• Weekdays: £11 for 1 dog, per hour group walk; £6 for a 2nd dog same household.
• Evening / Weekend: £15 for 1 dog per hour; £8 for 2nd dog same household.

DOG / PUPPY LET-OUT VISITS.

You may need someone to check on the dog and let it out into the garden for a comfort break, socialisation, play and a cuddle, and I can assist with any training / behaviour reinforcement objectives at the same time. A visit is half an hour to give the dog some reasonable company, mental stimulation and fun.

This can be especially useful for an older dog or of course puppies, who cannot be left for long periods. 

     Rates *

•      £10 per visit

 

 

CAT / PET VISITING.

As a kind alternative to putting your cat into a cattery, or to care for other small animals while you are away, I can visit the animals at home as often as needed.  I will feed, water and clean them, and play or cuddle as they prefer; they generally find the routine of these visits reassuring while their owner is away and quickly get into the idea they have a reliable alternative source of provisions and love while you're away! The house also looks less empty with regular visits, altered lights and curtains and cleared post.

A standard pet visit lasts for 30 mins.

•   £10 per visit   

 

PET TO VET TAXI SERVICE

    It can be difficult getting pets to the vet for routine visits or checkups for ongoing conditions.  I can make arrangements to take them securely and comfortably in my small van, calm them as far as possible, and obtain any veterinary instructions or advisory information on your behalf.

Note that generally I cannot offer the taxi service during the core walk hours of roughly 11am - 3pm on weekdays. 

Rates *

£15 per hour, plus 30p per mile for more than 5 miles from my home in Charlton

* Please note, after the first key collection which is usually alongside the consultation, free, there may be a small charge made for repeat collection/return of keys if I have to make special trips. I am happy to retain keys for regular clients.

* Bank Holiday rates add 50% [except Christmas period ~ double rates].

* Terms: payment within 14 days of invoice. Cat care bookings to be paid in advance.
